UFC Stream Sites along with His or her Deal with Zuffa.

Since the UFC became available on pay-per-view individuals have been linking to several websites to locate pirated UFC live stream sites. With each event running $44.95, and $55.95 for HD, it’s getting more and more difficult to purchase UFC events. More and more UFC fans are resorting to these alternative sites in order to watch their favorite UFC fighters. Is Zuffa simply wasting their time and money?

Zuffa LLC., owner of this UFC, has been quite busy in its battle against piracy. Zuffa has gone up to lying subpoenas for Justin.TV and Ustream.tv, popular sites where users can stream their own content; Zuffa has also sued one man who sold UFC streams for $6.99 a bit for $6,000,000. The latest of the swarm of lawsuits by the UFC is one against Bellator for alleged stealing of”trade secrets”.

Rather than trying to destroy these illegal streams, why not try to make the service more affordable, thus raising the amount of sales? The UFC currently offers live stream buying from its confirmed vendors here. The problem is these sites all still cost at least $44.95. Any person Googling”UFC stream” will run into an illegal streaming site prior to going to the UFC’s site and then paying the full $44.95 for the fight.

All these UFC stream sites won’t ever be stopped because of the sheer quantity of these, reddit ufc stream and of course several are hosted in states beyond the U.S.. The UFC cannot quit the firms beyond the U.S., as they don’t have any authority, unless they chased a lengthy, money consuming process that wouldn’t result in any positive result.

The NFL, NBA and MLB have viewed illegal streams as a lost cause. This is a part in due to how they make their money from ads on large networks such as CBS, FOX, TNT and more. Even if there’s an illegal stream for one of these sports, the viewer still views the commercials. The most obvious solution is to make purchasing internet UFC stream events available at a discounted rate from their authorized sellers. People, including myself, will be much more likely to buy an occasion costing $14.99 than $44.95. I am prepared to bet they’re more than three times as likely.

Through diminishing the price of the streams, and raising the volume of sales, the total income will probably be higher than that of the current pricing system. The second solution would be more challenging. The UFC would need to join with a significant network, such as CBS or Spike for their big UFC events and bank on advertising money generated from advertisements. The issue with this notion is UFC events last 2-3 hours, and also commercial breaks viewers may not want to stick around for the whole show anymore.
