Taylor Swift is Female Celebrity of the Month for Feb 2010.

She's been around since 2006 and in that relatively short period of time she as notched up quite a few succesful albums with an avalanche of awards in the process. Currently at the time of writing she has been nominated for a massive 8 Grammy Awards with only Beyonce beating her on ten and for comparison purposes the hugely popular Lady GaGa has been nominated for 5 and the equally popular chart busting Black Eyed Peas have been nominated for 6 gongs. She's only just turned 20 .... you could say she is on a roll!

Taylor Swift Biography

Taylor Swift will apparently be performing live at the Grammy Awards and will be joined by Stevie Nicks for a medley of Swift's "Today was a Fairytale" and "You Belong With Me" and Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon."

She classes her music as Country/Pop and is our first female star to be Female Celebrity of the Month from the country genre.

Currently top biography search on this site beating off names such as Blake Lively, Cheryl Cole, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus all major headliners at present but Taylor is proving even more popular on this site hence her selection for this months Female Celebrity.

As of 31 January at the 2010 Grammy Awards Taylor Swift can now add 4 Grammy Awards to her extensive awards collection. She was only beaten by Beyonce he managed a record 6 Gongs on the night.

She is also an actress and will be starring in a new film called Valentine's Day which looks to be having it's premiere in the UK on 11 February. The all star line up includes Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, Anne Hathaway and more!
